DIFFICULT TIME
30/08/11
Well summer is almost over, did it ever start? There have been a few interesting opportunities for me to capture some good shots despite the rain. What's really made life hard this summer, for me as a photographer that is, is the fact that our home is undergoing major renovations at the moment. As my office is within our home, or at least was before it became a building site, I have had to take a couple of months off and concentrate on the work at hand. I have taken on the task myself after finding it so hard to find a builder willing to work for ME not the other way round. Which brings me to the subject of customer service. When I deal with a client I work for THEM as far as possible. Obviously there are times when what is being asked for is nigh on impossible but I will try my utmost to get somewhere near to their request. I NEVER expect any job I take on to fit my ideas more than the client. If only I could find a builder like that! This part of the renovation will be complete by mid-September and then I will be fully back to speed and shooting every day up to Christmas and into the New Year. Then spring will see me tied up again for a few weeks before hopefully settling down to work fully focused on providing my clients with images they want.
